We did two treks with Babu, the founder of Advent Himalaya. Both were incredible. Babu has guided my uncle 7 times, my father once, and also my cousin and his family. I would never use anyone else. Babu helped us pick which treks we wanted to do, communicating often via email with us in the months before our trip to Nepal. He and his wife were at the airport to welcome us when we arrived and made every arrangement from our arrival until we left Nepal more than three weeks later. Our second trek was the Manasalu Circuit where Babu's knowledge and experience were invaluable. It was clear that Babu was more experienced than other guides, who often deferred to him. Babu made sure we stayed healthy and were acclimatized properly for the long Larke Pass (almost. 17,000) day. He also shared his wealth of knowledge and love for the local culture and religion so that we could really appreciate the beautiful world we walked through. All of Babu's group were amazing - our porter tirelessly hauled our stuff around, smiling the whole time as if it were nothing, Babu's nephew trekked with us and is also an amazing guide, I cannot recommend Advent Himalaya Treks enough, they are the very best!
